GDPR information for applicants

If you apply, we store and process the data you provide in order to check and process your application. The legal basis for the data processing associated with this is Art. 6 Abs. 1 Lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung und vorvertragliche Maßnahmen) and § 26 BDSG (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).

For this purpose, the information in your application may be passed on internally to persons authorized to make decisions.

If your application is successful, your data will continue to be processed for employment purposes. If you are not employed, your application documents and the personal data sent with them will be deleted after a maximum of six months, unless you give your explicit consent to further storage.

Please note that we will not return application folders received by post and will destroy them after the retention period.

We use specialized software providers for the application process who act as service providers for us. These service providers may also receive your personal data in connection with the maintenance and servicing of the systems. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the service providers in accordance with Art. 28 Abs. 3 DSGVO, which ensures that the data is processed exclusively in a permissible manner.
